Reconstruct the agreement
State when the money was provided, whether it was a loan, the amount already repaid, and the balance you believe remains. Include records that support those facts.
Do not publicly shame the borrower or contact their employer, family, or friends to create pressure. Keep the matter private unless a lawful formal process requires otherwise.
Offer a workable resolution
Provide a payment method and a date. If installments are possible, suggest a simple schedule and ask them to confirm only the practical terms.
If they dispute that it was a loan, do not argue through repeated messages. Preserve the record and move to mediation or legal advice.
- Original amount and date.
- Payments received and remaining balance.
- One full-payment or installment option.
Choose the process that matches the debt
One lawful request can be appropriate when ordinary contact is closed. It should not become repeated pursuit, intimidation, or an attempt to bypass a legal restriction.
Kildr does not collect debt or establish legal notice. Consumer, collection, and limitation rules vary, so use qualified local advice for meaningful or contested amounts.
