Rebuild the missing context
Assume the recipient will not remember every date, promise, or earlier conversation. For a message about how to revoke someone else's access to your account, use this factual base: name the platform, content, frequency, audience, or account access that must change.
Say what needs to happen next
State the decision, information, or practical action you need and include a real deadline only when one exists. State the requested removal or contact rule and use the platform control that supports it. Make the immediate next step clear enough that the recipient can answer without reconstructing the entire history.
Avoid making urgency into pressure
Do not trade passwords, monitor accounts, or move to a new platform after someone declines contact. Report impersonation, intimate images, account compromise, threats, and doxxing through platform and specialist safety channels. Do not make the other person responsible for reducing the discomfort that prompted you to write.
